Libec TH-650X – Lightweight Video Tripod System for Photo and Video
The Libec TH-650X is a compact tripod system for users shooting photos and video with small cameras. With a total weight of just 2.7 kg, it supports a payload of up to 3 kg. The working height can be adjusted from 71 to 155.5 cm. A standard carrying handle and the included carrying bag make transportation between locations easy.
Smooth pan and tilt movements
The redesigned head delivers smooth, natural camera movements, particularly at the start and finish of pans and tilts. Friction on each axis can be adjusted continuously using the respective control knob. Fully tightening the knob locks the corresponding axis. A fixed counterbalance supports camera handling, while the tilt range of +90° to -70° enables versatile shooting angles.
Arca-Swiss compatible camera plate
The 95 mm long, Arca-Swiss compatible camera plate makes switching between compatible photo and video setups easier. The camera attaches using a 1/4" screw, while a side-mounted screw clamp securely locks the plate to the head. An integrated bubble level helps with accurate levelling.
Versatile head with a dual-base design
The video head can be mounted on tripods with a 65 mm bowl as well as compatible flat-base equipment. This allows it to be used with sliders, skater dollies, and photographic tripods.
Easy operation and practical features
The two-stage tripod legs feature ergonomic flip locks. A redesigned mid-level spreader and integrated rubber feet support convenient handling. An additional mechanism prevents the leg pipes from coming loose. The carrying handle can be removed when not required.
The tripod base features three 1/4" and three 3/8" accessory mounting threads for attaching equipment such as monitors or lights. Designed for operation in temperatures from -20°C to +60°C, the TH-650X comes complete with a video head, camera plate, and carrying bag.
