Built from durable CNC-machined aluminum, the Sony FX3-FX30 Cage V2 is precisely engineered to protect and expand the functionality of the Sony FX3 & FX30 cameras. The camera is securely mounted to the cage using a 1/4-20 screw, ensuring a rigid and reliable connection suitable for professional productions.

The cage offers a versatile array of 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 threaded holes with anti-twist ARRI-style locating patterns, providing multiple options for mounting accessories such as external monitors, magic arms, or wireless systems. A NATO rail side design enables quick, tool-free attachment of compatible side handles, clamps, or other NATO-mounted accessories for efficient on-set customization.

A built-in cold shoe receiver on top allows convenient mounting of microphones, wireless receivers, or compact lights, while the integrated HDMI lock system ensures a secure and stable cable connection—preventing accidental signal loss during shooting.

At the base, the cage incorporates an ARCA Swiss quick-release plate, enabling seamless transitions between gimbal, tripod, and handheld configurations without the need for additional plates or adapters. By installing the ARCA Swiss plate on the right side of the cage, the cage can be combined to its baseplate in a 9x16 shooting setup format.

The cage’s intelligent design maintains full access to all essential camera controls, input/output ports, memory card slot, and battery compartment. All original functions, including the top handle and accessory ports, remain fully usable while the camera is mounted inside the cage.

Designed to fit NATO rail systems, this ergonomic top handle provides a secure and comfortable grip while offering multiple accessory mounting options. The handle features several 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 threaded holes with anti-twist ARRI locating patterns on top, allowing reliable attachment of additional accessories.

A push-release system is integrated into the design, enabling quick attachment of accessories via the front cold shoe mount. At the front of the handle, a built-in 15mm rod clamp allows mounting accessories such as monitors or microphone systems.

The handle also incorporates a padded rubber section, ensuring a comfortable, anti-slip grip during handheld operation and extended shooting sessions.
