Libec TH-X2 – Compact Video Tripod System with Versatile Features
The Libec TH-X2 builds on the proven TH-X, combining smooth camera operation with practical features for mobile productions. The complete system weighs just 3.2 kg and supports camera setups of up to 4 kg. With an adjustable height of 75.5 to 159 cm, a transport length of 78.5 cm, and a folded diameter of only 110 mm, it is ideal for working across different shooting locations.
Controlled camera movements
The included TH-X H video head features fixed counterbalance and fixed drag for smooth pan and tilt movements. The tilt range extends from +90° to -80°, while an integrated bubble level helps with accurate levelling. Serrated mounts on both sides allow left- or right-side pan handle mounting, dual pan handle operation, or direct attachment of the optional AS-7K accessory arm.
Fast camera changes with Snap ON/OFF
The sliding camera plate can be attached and released with a single action. A sliding range of ±30 mm makes balancing the camera setup easier. The camera attaches using a 1/4" screw with a video pin. The plate is compatible with suitable Manfrotto and Sachtler heads, as well as various Libec systems, including AP-X, TH-M KIT, TH-Z2, TH-V2, and the NX and HS series.
Versatile dual-base head
Featuring a 65 mm ball and a flat base, the head can be used on matching video tripods as well as compatible sliders, skater dollies, and photographic tripods. Accessory mounting threads with 1/4" and 3/8" sizes on the tripod base provide additional options for attaching monitors, lights, and other equipment.
Convenient transport and stable support
The standard carrying handle adjusts in 90° increments and can be removed when required. Improved rubber feet provide secure support on various surfaces. An integrated weight hook allows additional ballast to be attached for greater stability. A transport lock keeps the tripod legs secured during transportation, while the leg design reduces the risk of pinched fingers when folding the tripod.
The TH-X2 is designed for operation in temperatures from -20°C to +60°C. The system includes the RC-10 carrying bag with a shoulder strap and convenient front pockets.
