Libec Q50B – Lightweight 100 mm Tripod with Quick Deploy System

The Libec Q50B delivers professional stability with excellent mobility. With a payload capacity of up to 45 kg and a weight of just 3.0 kg, it is ideal for ENG, run-and-gun productions, and solo operators. The 100 mm bowl provides a solid foundation for professional camera setups that need to be ready quickly, even under time pressure.

Ready to shoot in seconds

At the heart of the Q50B is the patent-pending Quick Deploy System. With one hand on the carrying handle and the other on the central “Deploy Ring”, the tripod can be set up or folded down with minimal effort. Moving the ring opens or closes the mid-level spreader while simultaneously unlocking the upper leg sections. When additional height is required, the lower leg sections can be pre-extended using conventional screw locks, maintaining the rapid deployment of the upper sections.

Engineered for harsh conditions

During a year-long field-testing program conducted by professional users, the Q50B proved itself in conditions including the intense heat and blowing sand of the Arizona desert. Vulnerable components were subsequently reinforced. The dust-protected design keeps sand and grit away from the locking mechanisms, supporting reliable operation in demanding environments.

Versatile compatibility

The bowl base features two 1/4" and two 3/8" accessory mounting threads. The Q50B is compatible with standard fluid heads featuring a matching 100 mm ball base. Combined with the Libec LX10 Head, it creates a well-matched camera support system for fast-paced productions.

The Q50B is supplied as a legs-only configuration. A mid-level spreader and foot pads are included. It is not compatible with ground spreaders or dollies.
