Libec Q30B – Lightweight 75 mm Tripod with Quick Deploy System

The Libec Q30B combines a payload capacity of up to 45 kg with a low weight of just 2.9 kg. Featuring a 75 mm bowl, it is ideal for ENG, run-and-gun shoots, and solo operators who need to set up their camera equipment quickly and reliably in time-critical environments.

Fast setup with minimal effort

The patent-pending Quick Deploy System enables an efficient transition from transport to shooting. While one hand holds the carrying handle, the other moves the central “Deploy Ring” up or down. This opens or closes the mid-level spreader while simultaneously unlocking the upper leg sections. For additional height, the lower leg sections can be pre-extended using conventional screw locks, preserving the rapid setup of the Quick Deploy System.

Reliable in demanding conditions

The Q30B underwent a year of field testing by professional users, including prolonged exposure to intense heat and blowing sand in the Arizona desert. Based on their feedback, vulnerable components were specifically reinforced. The dust-protected design shields the locking mechanisms from sand and grit, ensuring reliable operation even in harsh conditions.

Flexible mounting options for professional setups

The bowl base features two 1/4" and two 3/8" accessory mounting threads for attaching additional equipment. The Q30B is compatible with standard fluid heads featuring a matching 75 mm ball base. Pairing it with the Libec NH40 creates a well-matched camera support system.

The Q30B is supplied as a legs-only configuration, with a mid-level spreader and foot pads included. It is not compatible with ground spreaders or dollies.
