Dzofilm Marlin 1.4x expander (PL-RF_Black_Carton_1pcs)

The DZOFILM Marlin 1.4x Expander expands the usability of compatible PL cine lenses on Canon RF-Mount cameras. It increases the effective focal length by a factor of 1.4 and, according to DZOFILM, helps Super35 lenses cover Full-Frame sensors.

Its optical construction with 6 elements in 4 groups is designed for clean image transmission and controlled optical performance. DZOFILM combines high-refractive-index SR optical elements, large-diameter aspherical lenses and internal anti-reflective flocking to reduce stray light and chromatic aberration. According to the manufacturer, light loss with the 1.4x version is controlled to under 1 stop.

For professional use, the Marlin 1.4x Expander features an integrated back-focus adjustment mechanism. Adjustments can be made without removing the lens and without using shims. The front and rear mounts are precision CNC-machined from stainless steel, while the body is made from aluminium alloy. This makes the expander a practical solution for productions, rental houses and setups that need to use existing PL lenses flexibly on modern camera systems.
