DZOFILM Arles Zoom 65-180mm T2.6 Full-Frame Cine Zoom - Metric

The DZOFILM Arles Zoom 65-180mm T2.6 extends the Arles Zoom system into the telephoto range with a versatile focal range from 65 to 180mm. Its 43.2mm image circle covers full-frame sensors, while the constant maximum T2.6 aperture is maintained throughout the entire 2.8x zoom range.

The optical design consists of 20 elements in 8 groups. Seven ED and five HRI elements support high resolving power and controlled correction of optical aberrations. The tests presented by DZOFILM demonstrate consistent detail reproduction across the tested focal lengths.

The parfocal design maintains focus while zooming. Focus breathing is also controlled and is shown as near zero at 120mm and 180mm in DZOFILM's supplied tests. Sixteen aperture blades support smooth, natural bokeh with largely circular highlights in the center of the frame.

For professional on-set workflows, the 65-180mm uses the same operating concept as the 25-75mm. Its 95mm front diameter, M86 filter thread, standard 0.8 MOD gearing and 270° focus rotation enable a consistent setup with matte boxes, follow-focus systems and lens motors.

At 1,782g, the telephoto zoom remains compact and portable. It also follows the optical and mechanical characteristics of the Arles Prime series, making it easier to combine zoom and prime lenses within the same production.
